COMMUNITY SERVICE

We aren’t here just to sit in our pews, sing, and listen to Rev Bev! We actively support projects and programs in Catonsville, across Baltimore County and with our UCC Global Ministries Partners around the world.  We like to team up and pitch in when emergencies arise and real-time support is needed.

We support Earl's Place, a safe place for men who are homeless to rebuild their lives and restore relationships with their families. Find out how Earl's Place empowers these men through providing a home, life skills, and support for recovery at: www.unitedministries-earlsplace.org

We walk the CROP Walk in order to help eliminate hunger within our community and in the world. Please see Church World Service to find out what you can do to end world hunger: www.churchworldservice.org

The congregation supports Catonsville Emergency Assistance through food donations, monetary donations and volunteer activity.

Regular Use of the Building By Community Groups.

Immanuel United Church of Christ tries to reach out in Christian service to the Catonsville and Baltimore Communities in many ways.

We have partnered with the Catonsville Cooperative Market by providing them with space in our building.

Our building is used by many 12 step organizations and other community organizations.
